Shutter speed: measurement of time shutter is open, faster reduces blur due to less light coming in.
Aperture: controls brightness of an image.
ISO: the measure of cameras sensitivity to light.
As I have had little experience using DSLRs, I am familiarising myself with the controls of the camera by reading the user manual.
